The Perfect Thanksgiving Table

If you have been reading this blog for any period of time I’m sure you remember my obsession with the Country Estate design of Juliska. So when they asked me to collaborate with them to get a Thanksgiving tablescape post I jumped at the chance (no actually, I’m pretty sure there was up movement, perhaps using a clicked heel?)

Choosing between the delft along with the flint colorway was TORTURE. In the end, my thoughtful, neutral-forward brain chose flint– a warm grey, it actually could go with anything- fearless colored vases, chargers, tablecloths…. It seemed to be the most practical. And perfect for Thanksgiving with it’s earthy tones.

We set up a “friendsgiving” table in our studio, even imagining that we would amuse ourselves and sellers with a banquet at my amazing Huston & Company Newton table (side chairs are Goal, host chairs are Resto). We paired the Classic Bamboo design chargers and with the Country Estate together and utilized a linen runner to keep matters easy and serving pieces. I utilized side plates and the dinner dishes in Country Estate.

I also employed some linen napkins I had picked up in C&B and had Cece duPraz monogram them for me. I utilized my golden bamboo flatware that’s no longer made (SOB).

For Your centerpiece I used the Juliska cork urn because I adored the natural texture it brought to the table in combination with the linen. I filled it with a lot of cabbage roses, and Viburnum some seeded leaves and branches.

The golden taper holders are PB since would be the votives. They add a comfy ambiance and cast warm light.

That I DIED when I watched that the brand new Stonewood Stripe collection online- amazing. The serving bowl and salad are.

Everything paired so attractively and it was actually simple and easy to do!

By way of example, the placecards I moved past easy– as if I picked up leaves from the street outside. No joke. I wrote everyone’s name on them in gold Sharpie and tucked them into the tortoise napkin rings.

The most gorgeous glassware is your Graham collection- that the DOF glass (that Andrew is enjoying because of his scotch- good size) and the large wine glass(ideal for momma’s red wine).

All in all, the perfect, easy fall ambiance just right for hosting family or friends or even both!
